Impro and Psychodrama This workshop will be of great interest to people wishing to strengthen their physical and dramatic presence, spontaneity and expression, in life and on the psychodrama stage. Improvisation is the art of creating something out of nothing. The ability to transform an empty space into a living world in the moment. The qualities needed for improvisation are those needed for the fullest living. The improvisor needs to be in their body in the here and now as a scene unfolds, is required to listen deeply, to co-operate with others, to say ‘yes’ to, and work with, what is emerging. Thinking, feeling and doing have to be engaged and embodied in a dynamic way. This process translates to all areas of life and work. The more we improvise, the more we drop self-consciousness and the more we develop the muscles of spontaneity, imagination and flexibility. The more we can play, the more we feel our freedom. As we undertake this journey we will use Psychodrama to explore what emerges. Your Workshop Leaders : Peter Hall and Rollo Browne ![]() Rollo Browne is a Sociodramatist and TEP. He works as an executive coach and organisational consultant and is Director of the Psychodrama Australia Campus in Sydney. He sees the key to his work over the last twenty years as the reconnection of people to their innate spontaneity so that they can better intervene in their own situations.
